This small cave is right in the midst of the lovely medieval town of Rocamadour, which is about an hour's drive east of Sarlat. There are some hand stencils, drawings of horses and other animals, and some figures that are hard to identify. They are estimated to be 23,000 years old. These are not the most impressive cave drawings that you can see, but if you are in the area it's probably worth stopping for a look.

Guided tours only. Open from April to November. The tour is in French but they have leaflets in other languages. There are about 20 steps down into the cave, the rest is flat.
